Following enforcement by UK Gov regarding some businesses with in the UK we wanted to provide some information and advice for our policy holders.
Advice and Housekeeping
• Turn off all services i.e. water and gas
• Remove all money from the site and leave your till draw open to emphasise this (if applicable)
• Arm all security devices (where applicable)
• Visit the site weekly (assuming legislation allows)
The EML team are on hand to assist you with any queries you may have however we would like to inform you that any decisions with regards to insurance coverage are made by your insurance company, please do rest assured that any claim notification sent to claims@everett-mead.co.uk will be handled in the usual professional and efficient manner of which you have become accustomed to from our team however the increase volume of calls and claims not only to us but to insurance companies has resulted in delays in responding to specific queries.
Our promise to you
- We will respond to your email within 48 hours to confirm receipt
- We will issue you with the EML Claims reference number within 48 hours
- We will continue to do our upmost to ensure your claim is handled correctly by your insurance company
- We will represent you and act as your insurance broker through every aspect of any claim
